Earlier this week a review of the best cities to live in South Dakota was released by a group called Credit Donkey. The rankings are based on five factors:
- Crime Rate
- Commute Time
- Restaurants Per Capita
So what communities top the list?
Coming in at No. 5 is Sioux Falls, showing well in education and income. Aberdeen took the No. 4 spot with low commute times, and solid incomes. The No. 3 spot has Brandon showing off with a really low crime rate and high incomes. At No. 2 is Yankton with great commute times, good income, and a nice concentration of restaurants. The community taking home the No. 1 title is Pierre with the lowest commute time among the top 10, the second highest wages, and the highest education markers. Congratulations Pierre!
Those cities rounding out the top 10 include Brookings, Mitchell, Rapid City, Madison, and Spearfish.
